Brandi Velasquez Nash
My goal as a therapist is to support you during difficult life transitions. These transitions may include starting college, searching for jobs, adjusting to roommates, and exploring gender and sexuality for yourself. Transitions and changes may evoke a sense of grief and loss, regardless if it's positive, negative, or neutral. As a Certified Advanced Grief Counseling Specialist, I can help you with the difficult emotions that are associated with these changes. Our sessions would focus on finding the root of your symptoms, processing your grief, and starting your healing journey. Although my specialty is grief and loss, I address a wide variety of concerns, including emotional regulation, managing anxiety and depression, healing from childhood trauma, and increasing resilience. Often, our symptoms can be traced back to the losses and trauma experienced in our lives. I often utilize Accelerated Resolution Therapy to treat these symptoms as well. Please visit my website for more information.

Stephanie Lee, PhD
It is incredibly important to have a space where you can just be you. My hope is to provide a comfortable place to talk and process life events, to celebrate successes and to navigate through challenges. There are so many different areas of life that are important, and balancing them all, while finding time to process it all can be challenging. Sometimes dealing with family relationships while away at school can be hard, especially when they are changing and shifting. At times, learning to navigate anxiety and expectations for school and peers can be overwhelming. Figuring out how to balance it all can be a big task. My goal is to support and help you find ways to grow and learn, and navigate these times so that you can be and become who you want to be.

College students often come to me when they feel stuck in painful relationship patterns, weighed down by negative self-perceptions, or overwhelmed by their emotional experiences. Through compassion and careful emotional attunement, I help create meaningful, corrective experiences that support lasting change, strengthen self-understanding, and build a more grounded sense of confidence. I enjoy helping young adults navigate difficult family dynamics, set boundaries with themselves and others, and improve self-esteem. With almost a decade of experience working with college students, I understand the unique stressors that come with earning a college degree while also learning how to be an adult. I am passionate about helping young adults thrive as they navigate the transition to adulthood.
Nora Morgenstern Arkin
I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in adolescence and young adulthood. I completed a fellowship at Mclean Hospital in Adolescent Mental Health. I was previously a psychologist at Mclean Hospital's Klarman Eating Disorders Center where I specialized in the care of individuals struggling with eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and associated concerns. I enjoy working collaboratively with a client, couple, or family to understand how someone's struggles relate to their larger goals, hopes, and motivations and how to work to understand their experiences together and move closer to those goals. I use approaches to therapy that focus on understanding the role and functions of emotions and behaviors, understanding someone's experience in the context of relationships, and utilizing strengths and competencies in the therapy process. In addition to individual therapy, I have a passion for working with couples, families, and in relationship based therapies. I also provide parent consultation for parents supporting their child or adult child through an eating disorder. Please reach out if you have any questions and would like to schedule a complementary initial phone consultation.

You may look like you have it together on the outside—but internally, you feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck. You might be juggling school, work, relationships, or the pressures of adulthood while trying to keep up and not fall behind. On the surface, you’re functioning—but underneath, you may feel mentally exhausted, hard on yourself, and unsure how to slow down. Many of my clients are high-functioning women, including college-aged and young adults, who struggle with anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, and self-esteem challenges. You may find yourself overthinking, comparing yourself to others, or feeling like you’re never quite “enough,” even when you’re doing your best. In our work together, you don’t have to have everything figured out. This is a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing without judgment, and begin to better understand yourself in a more compassionate way. Together, we’ll focus on: • Managing anxiety and overthinking • Reducing burnout and emotional overwhelm • Letting go of perfectionism and harsh self-criticism • Building confidence and improving self-worth • Developing practical coping strategies that fit your real life • Improving your relationship with yourself and your body My approach blends DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and person-centered therapy, allowing us to both build concrete coping skills and explore the deeper patterns that may be keeping you stuck. ⸻ I also work with adolescents who experience big emotions and need support learning how to understand and regulate them in a healthy, supportive environment. ⸻ With experience across schools, juvenile systems, substance use programs, and community mental health, I bring a well-rounded perspective to my work. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more confident, and less overwhelmed—so you can show up in your life with greater clarity and ease. If you’re ready to begin therapy, I offer a free consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
