Franklin and Kiai Counseling Services
I work with students who are ready for real change but tired of therapy that goes in circles. My practice focuses on addiction, including compulsive porn and sex behaviors, anger, anxiety, depression, and PTSD — the issues that are hardest to bring up but shape daily life the most. Many of the young adults and men I see are managing pressure from school, relationships, or family while trying to break a pattern that no longer serves them. Every session is confidential and judgment-free, built around clear goals we set together, with consistent check-ins so progress is visible, not just assumed. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-S) licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, and Utah, and accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB), I can offer virtual sessions to students studying or living in any of those states, along with in-person appointments throughout Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Hutto, Taylor, and Leander, Texas. Flexible scheduling and private-pay options mean students can start when they are ready, not when a waitlist opens.

He specializes in addiction counseling, including porn and sex addiction and other compulsive or substance-related behaviors; trauma and PTSD therapy; anxiety and depression counseling; anger and stress management; and men’s issues counseling. His work emphasizes evidence-based care, individualized treatment planning, emotional regulation, structured accountability, and tools clients can apply in daily life. Micheal’s approach is nonjudgmental, culturally aware, and goal-focused. At Franklin and Kiai Counseling Services, clients can work through patterns that affect relationships, work, emotional health, and personal growth while building greater clarity, control, and confidence. Virtual and in-person appointments are available for clients in Round Rock and surrounding communities.

Little Dove Psychology
College is a lot. If you are juggling classes, a social life, and a brain that will not cooperate, you do not need a six-month waitlist on top of it. Little Dove Psychology is a fully virtual practice for college students, based in Austin, Texas. Two things we do differently: if you have always wondered whether you have ADHD, we complete comprehensive virtual ADHD evaluations in under a month, with a written report you can use at school. And our individual therapy sessions fit an actual student schedule, with evening and weekend appointments, all from your dorm, apartment, or parked car between classes. We use approaches with real evidence behind them (CBT, ACT, DBT skills) for the things students actually deal with: anxiety, perfectionism, procrastination that is really something deeper, homesickness, relationships, and figuring out who you are. No judgment, no lectures, just practical help from someone who gets it. Your therapy does not have to end when the semester does. Through PSYPACT, we can see you across Texas and the other PSYPACT states, so if you head home for winter break, spend the summer out of state, or study away from campus, your sessions continue without starting over with someone new. We are in network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, and Optum (UnitedHealthcare), and we provide superbills for other plans. Every student starts with a free 15-minute consultation, and most start the same week they reach out.

You are 20 and you have already cried in three different bathrooms this semester. The friend group from freshman year quietly disappeared. The situationship is in its eighth round of "we are figuring it out." The professor who said your paper was "interesting" in a tone that meant something else has been living in your head for two weeks. You are tired in a way that sleep does not fix. I work with college aged women and young adults who are doing everything they were told to do and somehow feel further from themselves than they have ever been. The girls who got into college on perfectionism and are now watching that same perfectionism eat them alive. The ones who left a religious or controlling home and are realizing, in real time, what it actually cost them. The ones whose body image got worse, not better, when they got here. The ones who keep ending up in the same kind of relationship with a different person and cannot figure out why. The ones who looked around the dining hall and realized everyone else seems to have a friend group already and felt something crack a little. I do EMDR for trauma, which is the work I love most. It is especially useful when something specific from your past keeps showing up uninvited in your present. The breakup that should not still hurt this much. The thing that happened in high school you have never really told anyone. The childhood version of you who learned to make herself small and is still doing it. We can also just talk. My process is flexible and so am I. Some sessions are heavy. Some sessions you tell me about your week and we laugh. Both are doing real work. I am licensed in Oklahoma, Texas, and Massachusetts. If you are at school in one and home for the summer in another, we can keep going without starting over with someone new.

You do not have to have it all figured out to start. Life has a way of throwing challenges at us that feel impossible to navigate alone, especially when you are a student trying to find your path or a professional struggling to keep your head above water. I provide a down to earth, judgment free space where you can finally drop the perfect act and focus on what is actually happening. My goal is not just to help you cope, but to help you build a life that feels balanced and authentic. I specialize in helping clients work through high-functioning Anxiety, OCD, Eating Disorders, and Body Image concerns. We look at the root of these struggles while building practical tools you can use every day. From the complexities of relationship conflict and substance use to the unique challenges of Perinatal Mental Health, I provide specialized support for the stages of life that change us the most. Using a trauma-informed and psychodynamic approach, we explore how your past experiences shape your present, helping you gain the insight needed to move forward with confidence. I blend professional expertise with a personal understanding of life’s major transitions. I reject the one size fits all checklist in favor of strategies tailored to your unique goals and experiences. Whether we are addressing family dynamics or the intense reality of becoming a new parent, our sessions are a space for you to be seen and supported without the fluff of You don't have to have it figured out to start. Whether you're a student finding your footing or someone quietly struggling beneath a put-together exterior, I offer a down-to-earth, judgment-free space to drop the perfect act and focus on what's actually going on. I specialize in anxiety, OCD, eating disorders, body image, and relationship stress — and I take a trauma-informed, psychodynamic approach to get to the root, not just the surface. We build tools you can actually use, tailored to your life and goals. Reach out — let's figure out the rest together. *Insurance & Fees* I am an out of network provider and provide a superbill to be submitted to your insurance for reimbursement. My office is happy to assist in verifying your benefits and with initial submission processes to ensure your focus stays on your mental health. I also offer a sliding scale rate if appropriate. Brandon Rodriguez, LCMHC, LPC, EMDR
College can be amazing—and brutal. I remember when I was in college: papers, jobs, family stuff, breakups… and how stress can wake up old hurts. I’m Brandon Rodriguez, LCMHC (EMDR-certified), and I help students who feel stuck by trauma, panic, bad memories, or constant worry. How EMDR helps: we identify the moments your brain keeps replaying (accidents, losses, bullying, assaults, chaotic homes, medical scares). With simple bilateral techniques—like brief sets of eye movements—we help your nervous system reprocess those memories so they feel farther away and less intense. You don’t have to give every detail, and you stay in control the whole time. Most students say the memory is still there, but it doesn’t run the show anymore. Sessions are calm and practical. Each week you leave with do-now tools for sleep, panic, and focus; when you’re ready, we use EMDR to reduce the grip of past experiences. Telehealth statewide, evenings available, new clients within ~7 days. Medicaid and United/Optum and many more insurances accepted; sliding scale offered as well. You set the pace—I’ll guide the process. You are worth it, and I am listening.
