Hello, and thank you for looking at my profile. After working at Butler University's counseling center for the past 13 years, I recently transitioned to full time private practice. I love working with college students and hope to continue working with them in my new practice. I have a lot of experience with stress, anxiety, body image, substance abuse, depression, relationship problems, grief/loss, and the changing identities and developments that take place during the college years. I offer both in person and teletherapy and I am typically able to be flexible with scheduling. I'd love a chance to meet you to see if we would be a good fit!

Jack Garner, LCSW is a licensed clinical therapist in the states of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, and Illinois and is a member of WPATH. Hey there! Feeling overwhelmed by life, school, or relationships? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. College can be an exciting time, but let’s be honest: it can also be a lot. Between juggling classes, friendships, family expectations, and figuring out your future, life can feel downright overwhelming. Maybe you’re dealing with stress or anxiety that won’t let up. Perhaps you’re struggling to manage perfectionism, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in a cycle of procrastination. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know that you’ve taken an incredible first step by exploring support—and I’m here to help. As a therapist, I work with college students like you who are navigating the stress and uncertainty that often comes with this stage of life. Whether you’re trying to balance school and personal life, sort through complicated emotions, or just figure out who you are and what you want, I’m here to offer you a safe, supportive space to unpack it all. What You Can Expect in Therapy Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical—it’s about you. In our sessions, you’ll find a space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind without fear of judgment. Whether it’s anxiety about grades, relationship struggles, or the pressure to have everything figured out, we’ll work through it together. We’ll explore what’s been holding you back and develop strategies that actually fit into your life. I use evidence-based approaches, mindfulness techniques, and tools for managing stress and anxiety, but I also believe in keeping things real, relatable, and sometimes even lighthearted. Growth doesn’t always have to feel heavy—it’s about learning how to navigate life in a way that feels true to you. Why College Students Choose Therapy Here are just a few of the reasons students come to me for support: Stress & Burnout: College life can feel like one big to-do list. We’ll work on managing your stress and setting boundaries so you can feel more in control. Anxiety & Perfectionism: Always striving for the best? Constantly overthinking? Let’s work together to quiet the pressure and find more balance. Relationships: Whether you’re navigating friendships, dating, or family dynamics, I can help you build stronger, healthier connections. Life Transitions: Moving to a new place, choosing a major, or figuring out what’s next after college? These changes can feel overwhelming, but they’re also opportunities for growth. Self-Discovery: College is a time of exploring who you are. We’ll work on building your confidence, tuning into your values, and creating a vision for your future. A Little About Me I’m Rachel McCrystal, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I’ve dedicated my career to helping people—just like you—navigate life’s challenges with care and confidence. Outside of therapy, I’m a mother, a military spouse, and a breast cancer survivor, so I deeply understand what it’s like to feel stretched thin and uncertain about the future. My own experiences have taught me how important it is to have someone in your corner—and that’s exactly what I aim to be for you. This Is Your Time I know it can feel scary to take that first step toward therapy, but I promise, it’s worth it. You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out—I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you figure it out. Therapy is about creating space to breathe, reflect, and grow. It’s about learning to trust yourself, embrace your strengths, and navigate challenges with more clarity and resilience. If you’re ready to stop feeling stuck and start moving forward, let’s connect. Your next chapter is waiting, and I’d be honored to be a part of it.

Hi I'm Kate. It's nice to meet you, even if it's here on a website page. For many of us, we come to a point in our lives where we feel stuck. You might be at this point right now. You've tried everything you can think of to shift things, but nothing seems to be working. The gap between where you want to be and where you actually are is painful. In my practice, we explore these issues and stuck spots in a safe and nonjudgemental space. Together we experiment with new ways to open up, express, listen, and engage in order to bring about new understandings, deeper connections and most of all healing. The overall goal is to start Living Better, Feeling Better and Moving Forward. I may or may not be the right fit for you. I know it can be overwhelming to find a therapist. Reach out, if I am not the right fit, I will help you find someone who is. Hang in there. You are on the right track.

Inquisitive Healing
Welcome. I’m K. Hilary Curtis-Long, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over eight years of experience in trauma informed and systems-oriented care. My work is grounded in the belief that distress is not a personal failing, but a meaningful response to lived experience—often shaped by relational wounds, cultural narratives, and environments that ask too much of the nervous system. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, listen carefully, and make sense of what your symptoms have been trying to communicate. My clinical background includes training in attachment theory, trauma therapy, Jungian and narrative approaches, feminist theory, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), with a strong emphasis on somatic and mindfulness-based practices. I work with individuals navigating religious trauma, sexuality and identity, attachment wounds, shame, relational harm, and the lingering impacts of early experiences. Many clients come to therapy feeling exhausted by urgency, responsibility, or the pressure to remain functional in systems that feel misaligned with their values. In our work together, we attend to the interconnection between mind, body, and story—exploring how inherited beliefs, early relationships, and social systems have shaped your sense of self, worth, and belonging. Rather than rushing toward solutions, therapy becomes a place to metabolize grief, loosen shame, and reclaim creativity, agency, and meaning at a pace that feels sustainable. Symptoms are approached with curiosity and respect, allowing self- compassion to replace self-blame over time.

It can be difficult to find your way amidst uncertainty. It can be easy to become overwhelmed and feel powerless and even hopeless, to lose a sense of purpose and enjoyment. Sometimes you need someone to help you sort these things out and get to the root of a problem so that you can grow beyond it. If I can help you achieve that in any way, then I have succeeded. My primary client focus at this time is young adults in college or trade school, professional women, working moms, and peripartum women.

Everyone deserves a safe place to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe clients are the experts in themselves and I provide a safe space to explore thoughts and feelings without judgment. One request I may ask of clients when we work together is that labels like “right” or “wrong” are strongly discouraged in sessions. Letting go of those labels in session is an important part of creating that safe space. The most common struggles of the people I work with include Borderline Personality Disorder, PTSD, struggles with assertiveness, gray-area substance use, and anger outbursts. The other mindfulness practices can help with managing anxiety, impulsivity, and intrusive thoughts. As your recovery evolves in stages, your treatment will too. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and have been practicing since 2018. My specialties include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and narrative therapy, as well as other mindfulness practices.

The therapists at IPCI have a passion for working with clients to help them both cope better in the present as well as to explore, and work through, the underlying factors that fuel and perpetuate recurring problems like anxiety, depression, and relationship troubles. Many of our therapists have additional training in trauma work, including EMDR. Dr. Hanzlik is one of the few AASECT-Certified Sex Therapists in Indiana, and has trained other IPCI therapists to provide effective treatment and a specialization in helping patients work through sexual concerns. We also provide psychological evaluation to clarify diagnoses and provide recommendations for accommodations in academic settings.
