Phoenix Rising Counseling Services
There is a part of me that feels extremely anxious. There is a part of me that gets really sad and down at times. There is a part of part of me that can hardly get out of bed some days. There is a part of me that needs to take care of everyone and everything. There is a part of me that wants to check out and escape from all the responsibilities I have. There is a part of me that thinks about dying and a part of me that wants to live. There is a part of me that …. How many times have we all had these feelings or thoughts that come over us that seem conflicting at times but represent how we are feeling in the moment. Understanding our parts even those that are contradictory, being able to validate and accept our parts, and creating balance and space for our parts mentally can be attained through therapy. Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) is designed to allow us to heal from our pain, hurt, and fears by managing the parts that have been created out of our traumas. We have all experienced trauma in some form, and we all have parts that have been borne from those traumas. Parts that help us manage our daily lives and parts that may tend to disrupt our lives, but all of these parts are valid and serve some self-protective purpose and can be managed once they are understood. If you’re reading this, I want to honor the courage it takes to seek support—your journey toward healing and wholeness matters deeply. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and I specialize in helping individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and complex family dynamics. My approach is rooted in traditional, evidenced-based therapeutic interventions, but I also believe healing can be creative, expressive, and deeply personal. Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all—it’s tailored to you. I serve clients across Georgia, Alabama, Virginia, Texas, Wisconsin, and Louisiana, offering inclusive, culturally responsive care that honors your identity, your struggles, and your story. Wherever you find yourself today, I’d be honored to walk alongside you toward your healthiest self.
Jessica Hallman
Hello! My name is Jessica Hallman and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Many of us go throughout life having to be different versions of ourselves, whether that’s being different versions at work, with friends or with family. We get into this mode where we compartmentalize, hide ourselves and our experiences for various reasons which can include shame, pain, anxiety, anger, or fear of not being accepted. This often leaves us feeling lost, tired, unfulfilled, or unhappy. Whether you are experiencing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, problems with relationships, or a general sense of disconnectedness, I will work alongside you to promote inner healing, self discovery, and acceptance while allowing you to feel fully seen. I’m committed to creating a space that is safe, supportive, and non-judgmental where you can gently put down the “mask” and bring your whole self. I believe in having an individualized approach to meeting your needs. With the use of Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral, and Solution Focused Therapy, I will support you in gaining strength and finding joy. My belief is that we are each uniquely the captains of our own lives and at times, just need a new or different perspective on how to navigate our experiences. Let’s partner together, with you leading the way at your own pace (mask off), and begin the process of restoring your inner peace.
ABLE Life Recovery
I primarily work with individuals struggling with compulsive behavior, including sex/porn addiction, codependency, internet/social media addiction, and problem spending/debting. Addiction is meant to make you feel less. It provides temporary numbing for lifelong pain. You feel trapped, depressed, angry, anxious, guilty, and afraid when you can't stop. Recovering from compulsive behavior, though not easy, is possible and has been accomplished many times. But it does require a complete change in beliefs and attitude, along with how to deal with life and its problems. Getting out of your head and taking action is the next indicated step. Listen to your mind and body - it's time to stop treating yourself so badly. I can help you learn to help yourself. You can become your own best advocate. All are welcome in my office, including those from BIPOC and LGBTQIA communities.

So many obstacles can hinder a person from experiencing a vibrant, peaceful, and satisfying life. My goal is to provide a safe and compassionate space to process your experiences, cope with distressing emotions, and promote healing in whatever way feels best for you. I’m drawn to working with young adults, women, and individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, recent or past trauma, PTSD, and relationship issues. I approach clients by considering the strengths, values, goals, and experiences of each unique individual. I value a collaborative relationship towards self-exploration, insight, and building skills like mindfulness and self-compassion. My approach involves integrating elements from various therapeutic modalities to suit each client’s goals. It’s not always easy or comfortable to ask for help. My intention is to create a genuine and empowering therapeutic alliance grounded in curiosity, respect, and compassion. I believe that every person is the expert of their own life and provided the appropriate support can achieve the growth and healing they desire for themselves.

Meg Wilson
I specialize in working with queer and neurodivergent clients, including those with no formal diagnosis, particularly autistic people, individuals with ADHD, and couples with mixed neurotypes. I am interested in exploring embodiment, somatic interventions, expressive arts, and pleasure activism with clients. I work with a variety of needs, such as navigating non-traditional relationship structures, anxiety, depression, self-actualization, low desire, identity development, and dysphoria, and the way grief can interplay with these needs. I facilitate these explorations through a humanistic, feminist, and systems-oriented lens. My area of focus is trauma-informed sex therapy. I hope to support clients as they defang shame and center joy and pleasure in their lives. I have four years of experience working with survivors of sexual trauma and a lifetime of working with queer people; in addition, I am kink-aware, polyamory-positive and -informed, pro-sex work, and organizer-friendly.
