Are you having trouble with falling and staying asleep? Are you feeling anxious and overwhelmed? I specialize in working with people who are having trouble sleeping, who are experiencing anxiety, and who are going through reproductive transitions or who are experiencing distress related to their reproductive health (e.g., PMDD, pregnancy, postpartum, infertility). In my work, I aim to cultivate a safe space to hold and honor your emotions, while also providing you with new coping tools to help you process your emotions, get some distance from your thoughts, and help you engage with your life. To do this, I use a blend of evidence-based psychotherapies such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.

There’s no guidebook for life. It’s easy to feel like you’re falling short when you’re just trying to get through the day. Maybe you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or unmotivated, but continue pushing yourself because you believe there’s no other option, all the while feeling that you’re never measuring up. It might feel like a foreign concept to slow down and listen to what you truly need in each moment, but with the right support, making this shift is possible, and it might give you the relief you need. I’ll focus on helping you learn to be kind and compassionate toward yourself so that you can start living your life from a place of “already enough,” and begin taking actions that truly support your well-being. Sometimes, learning to accept yourself as you are is the first step toward meaningful change. Together, we can explore what might be getting in the way of becoming the person you want to be. I'm here to help you learn how to embrace the person you already are to create the life you desire. If this feels like the right path for you, I’d love to explore working together.

Meaning-Making & Life Transitions | Anxiety, Grief, and Healing There are times in life when the questions feel too big: Why does everything feel so disconnected from what I imagined? How do I keep moving forward when I’m not sure where to go? If you’ve built a life that looks good on the outside but feels off on the inside, you’re not alone. Maybe you’ve spent years pushing forward, staying busy, and doing what’s expected—only to find yourself feeling restless, anxious, or disconnected from what once drove you. Or maybe something big has shifted—grief, a transition, an unexpected change—and suddenly, the certainty you once relied on isn’t there anymore. I understand this because I’ve lived it. Losing both of my parents during some of the most formative years of my life left me grappling with a depth of grief and confusion I wasn’t prepared for. In my late teens and early adulthood, I had to figure out how to keep going while everything around me was shifting. It was a messy, painful journey that took me to the darkest corners of myself, forcing me to confront emotions I hadn’t even realized I was carrying. And through it, I eventually learned that healing doesn’t come from pushing through or pretending to be okay. It comes from creating space for what’s real—sitting with it, learning from it, and finding a way forward, even when it feels impossible. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing isn’t about fixing what’s “broken,” but about understanding yourself in new ways. It’s about reconnecting with who you truly are, even when life has pulled you off course. In my practice, I offer a space for you to process what’s beneath the surface—without pressure, without judgment. Whether you’re navigating grief, dealing with anxiety, or facing a life transition that’s left you questioning everything, therapy can help you make sense of it. Healing with me isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about deep exploration, vulnerability, and learning how to reconnect with yourself and what truly matters to you. If any of this resonates, I’m here to walk with you through it—helping you rediscover clarity, confidence, and the courage to move forward in a way that feels right for you. Gabrielle Samo, MA, LPCC, earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and understands that navigating life’s challenges can feel overwhelming. Her approach combines practical tools to help make sense of things (because sometimes we need a map) with the space to sit with what’s hard (because not everything can—or should—be fixed right away). Her work is informed by experience supporting individuals with chronic and terminal illnesses, as well as years of hospice volunteer work. Gabrielle Samo is supervised by Michelle Fagan, LPC #0016337.

College can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. Between classes, relationships, friendships, family expectations, work, and figuring out who you are, it's easy to feel like you're supposed to have everything figured out when you're still trying to find your footing. I'm Grace, and I'm a therapist who works with young adults navigating anxiety, self-doubt, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma, identity, and the pressure to "have it all together". My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgement-free. Therapy isn't about telling you what you SHOULD do. It's a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and build a life that actually feels like yours. Whether you're struggling to manage the demands of college, feeling disconnected from yourself, navigating a difficult relationship, or simply feel like something is "off", you don't have to figure it out alone. We can work together to understand what's underneath the stress, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and help you feel more confident moving forward. I offer a free 15 minute consultation to see if we are a good fit. Feel free to email me to set one up. I can't wait to meet you!

When will I stop feeling like I’m always in survival mode? How do you figure out the unspoken rules of a world that never handed you the instruction manual? I offer empowering, trauma-informed therapy in Colorado, providing affirming care for Queer & Neurodivergent folks alongside support for a range of mental health and life experiences for individuals and couples. My approach honors your unique story, creating a safe space for processing, understanding, and growth. I commend you for seeking support and looking out for you and your needs. I aim to be a therapist that 'gets it,' one that shows up, listens, hears you and can understand. I encourage sharing about your current obsessions, interests, passions, and experiences, as I believe these are all valuable parts of yourself. This is your space to be your true, authentic self, and I work to create an environment that feels safe and easy to settle into. As a queer and neurodivergent therapist, I bring lived experience and am especially passionate about working with these communities. I specialize in working with folks with Trauma & PTSD, Relationships, Autism/Neurodivergence, Self Esteem and Body Image, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, and Identity. I am also kink aware and polyamorous/non-monogamous informed and aligned. I work with a variety of other support areas as well and I'm committed to meeting you exactly where you're at. The types of treatment I utilize greatly depend on the person or persons served and their support areas, what feels most aligned with their values, and how structured clients would like their sessions to be-many times an eclectic approach works best- with a little humor sprinkled in too, if it's helpful. I have openings for new clients! Let's chat and see if it's a good fit. I'm currently scheduling virtual sessions. I take insurance as well as private pay, and have a sliding scale if needed. In 2015, I began my own therapy journey, and it truly transformed my life. Understanding myself better and gaining awareness of why I respond the way I do gave me a sense of control and empowerment that I had never experienced before. For the first time, I realized that I could change how I show up in my daily life, how I respond to challenges, and how I engage in relationships. This profound experience inspired me to pursue a master's degree in clinical mental health counseling, so I could help others feel the same sense of empowerment and growth. I prioritize creating a space where my clients feel heard, seen, and validated. When they're ready, I gently challenge them to increase their self-awareness, shift their perspectives, and focus on what they can control. My approach is rooted in compassion and understanding, and I use a combination of person-centered therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help my clients process trauma, manage anxiety, and build healthier thought patterns.

Sometimes our minds get the best of us, creating unhelpful stories that leave us feeling overwhelmed and seemingly without hope. Reaching out for help in these times can be a difficult but strong first step because problems gain power in isolation and can keep us from thriving. I believe that our lives are made up of stories told and known through our relationships and community. Some of these narratives have provided us with a nourishing source of connection, health, and meaning, while others have disempowered us and left us feeling stuck. Identifying and exploring how you feel about these experiences and relationships can provide us roadmaps to your unique hopes for the future in stronger alignment with your core values and strengths. I am an affirming and inclusive licensed clinical mental health counselor who specializes in treating problems from a relational and holistic lens. In my work with clients, I integrate complementary methodologies including narrative therapy, experiential work, and somatic parts exploration to recover the contexts where thriving and connection have been possible despite the problems influencing your life. I have served diverse populations in private and group practice settings, residential facilities, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. I am passionate about accompanying individuals experiencing personal life challenges and transitions, including depression, anxiety, grief, and loss. Many of my clients are navigating challenging interpersonal relationships and complex family dynamics as well as having suffered personal trauma and oppression, both within their family-of-origin and systemically as marginalized identities. Whether you’ve had experience with therapy previously or if this is your first time trying something new, I would be so happy to guide you through the process and help you regain agency in your life. If any of this resonates with you, our conversations will provide you with a safe space to begin exploring and empowering the lost parts of your experience, emotions, and identity from a new vantage where wholeness and connection are once again possible. Working together from a place of curiosity and heart, I would like to help you to re-author the life story you are writing. I look forward to speaking with you about the work that is possible together!

It, also, symbolizes the opening of your mind to change and healing. Being in college is a time of rapid growth. This can be hard. Figuring out how to navigate school, new relationships, new routines and define who you are as a young adult can be stressful. If you are feeling stressed, overwhelmed, and anxious, I can help. Treatment is tailored to what you need. It is usually multi-modal and not "just" medications or "just" therapy. Everyone's needs are different and we can design a treatment plan that fits you.

Hi! My main goal is always to help my clients to help themselves, so you feel empowered to embrace stress and change as it comes. With experience working in an eating disorder hospital and 7 years working as a therapist in the Athletic Depts at UT Austin and CU Boulder, I've been involved with supporting my clients through the life challenges that high schoolers, young adults, and adults face for my entire professional career. I am EMDR certified and use this to treat trauma, eating disorders, chronic pain, urges in addiction/EDs, and sport performance (both positive reinforcement as well as treating mental blocks). I particularly enjoy teaching tools for navigating anxiety and depressive symptoms, helping to make peace with body image, and supporting mental performance for sport. I also have a passion for supporting perfectionists to expand their view of themselves and learn to release a little of the control that is actually controlling them!
