College is a lot. You’re expected to keep up with classes, friendships, relationships, work, family expectations, and decisions about your future—all while somehow figuring out who you are and what you want your life to look like. Sometimes it can feel like everyone else has it figured out while you’re just trying to keep your head above water.
I tend to work best with students who may look like they’re holding everything together on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, stuck, or unsure of themselves underneath it all. Maybe your mind never seems to shut off. Maybe you’re struggling with motivation or falling behind when you know you’re capable of more. Maybe relationships feel complicated, you have a hard time setting boundaries, or you’re starting to realize that things from your past are showing up in your life now.
Or maybe you can’t quite explain what’s going on—you just know you haven’t felt like yourself lately.
You don’t need to have the perfect words for what you’re experiencing before coming to therapy. You don’t need to know exactly what you want to work on, either. Sometimes we start with what happened this week. Sometimes we talk about something you’ve been carrying for years. Sometimes we figure it out together as we go.
My goal is to create a space where you don’t feel like you have to perform, have the “right” answer, or convince me that what you’re going through is hard enough to matter. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation—one where you can laugh, cry, vent, be frustrated, ask questions, learn about yourself, and still leave with tools you can actually use outside of our sessions.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety and overthinking, depression, trauma, burnout, self-esteem, identity, relationships, family struggles, or simply trying to navigate this very weird transition into adulthood, you don’t have to have everything figured out before you reach out.
We can start exactly where you are.
